Cover by Jack Ketchum
This is the story of the disintegration of a Vietnam War veteran and the havoc that ensues as only Jack Ketchum can tell it. Rave review in Fangoria!! This edition is signed by Jack Ketchum and includes material not in the out-of-print paperback. Ketchum writes an introduction dealing with research. And there's material Ketchum wrote at the time the story took place, NOT when he actually wrote the book, called EPHEMERA. Buy a reading copy from
Gauntlet Press Limited Hardcover edition, Date published 2000, Illustrated by Neal McPheeters, ISBN 1-887-36828-0, 294 pages

First hardcover edition of a paperback original first published in 1987. This book is available in two editions: a signed numbered edition of 1000 and a lettered edition of 26 which includes additional material. In addition to the original text from the paperback version there's a never-before published self-portrait of the author, drawn in 1970. And, there's additional written material Jack Ketchum wrote in the late-sixties and early-seventies when the war in Vietnam was at its peak. This material, he calls EPHEMERA provides a remarkable insight into the author and has never been published before. Lastly, Ketchum has given us the mock-up drawings from Ballantine for the book they wanted to call Stalking Ground. The author's introduction discusses this in detail. Search for other copies
